🚨 50% of U.S. Voters Now Say It’s Genocide. Only 6% of Congress Agrees. The Reason? AIPAC.
Public opinion is shifting fast. But lawmakers are tied by the money and power of a foreign lobby that has bought Washington.
Family, this is the story the mainstream press will bury — because it exposes just how corrupted American politics has become. For the first time in modern polling, a majority of Americans say the truth out loud: Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.

The First Time It Has Crossed 50%
According to a new Quinnipiac University poll, 50% of all voters in the United States now believe Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.
Let that sink in.
This isn’t just a statistic. It’s a moral threshold. Half the country sees what Israel is doing — the carpet bombing, the starvation, the denial of medicine, the killing of tens of thousands of children — and calls it what it is.
Genocide.
The Numbers in Detail
The data is crystal clear:
50% of all voters say Israel is committing genocide.
35% say it is not.
15% aren’t sure.
The partisan breakdown is just as telling:
Democrats: 77% say it is genocide. Only 11% disagree.
Independents: 51% say genocide, 34% say not.
Republicans: 64% say it is not genocide, only 20% say it is.
On another question, voters were asked whether their sympathies lie more with Israelis or Palestinians. For the first time since Quinnipiac began asking in 2001:
37% sympathize with Palestinians (all-time high).
36% sympathize with Israelis (all-time low).
27% did not choose either.
And on the issue of U.S. funding:
60% of voters oppose sending more military aid to Israel.
Only 32% support it.
Democrats (75–18%) and independents (66–27%) are firmly opposed. Republicans (56–37%) still support it.
The Chasm Between the People and Congress
Now let’s compare that to Congress.
In the House of Representatives, only about 6% of members have publicly called Israel’s actions genocide. In the Senate, the number is even lower.
So while half of America says “this is genocide,” 94% of Congress refuses to utter the word.
That is not a gap. That is a chasm.
Why?
Because Congress is bought. I mean that quite literally.
AIPAC’s Iron Grip
The truth is simple and devastating: over 75% of members of Congress are endorsed, funded, or politically supported by AIPAC — the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the most powerful lobby in Washington.
They write the checks. They fund the campaigns. They decide who gets primaried and who gets protected. And their money has tied the hands, mouths, and votes of American lawmakers.
So now, at the very moment when the world needs the United States Congress to intervene, when voters themselves are crying out against genocide, Congress does nothing.
Because they have been bought and paid for.
The Corruption is Out in the Open
Think about what this means.
The American people: 50% say genocide.
Congress: 94% won’t say it.
The American people: 60% say stop the weapons.
Congress: votes by overwhelming bipartisan margins to send billions more.
The American people: sympathy for Palestinians higher than ever before.
Congress: passes resolutions declaring unconditional support for Israel.
This isn’t representation. This is occupation of American democracy by a foreign lobby.
A Turning Point in Public Opinion
For decades, politicians and media told us that support for Israel was the “American consensus.” That consensus is dead.
The Quinnipiac poll shows it plainly:
The majority of Democrats and independents reject military aid.
The majority of Democrats and independents see genocide.
Sympathy for Palestinians is higher than for Israelis.
Opposition to sending weapons is at record highs.
The people have shifted. Congress has not.
The Power of the Word Genocide
This poll also shows that the word “genocide” has broken through.
For nearly two years, activists, human rights lawyers, U.N. officials, and survivors in Gaza have shouted it from the rooftops. Israel, with U.S. backing, tried to deny it. The White House called it “overheated rhetoric.” Mainstream outlets refused to use it.
But now, half of America says it. And among Democrats — the very base of President Biden’s party — nearly 8 in 10 say Israel is committing genocide.
That should end the debate. But it won’t — because the people in power don’t answer to voters. They answer to their funders.
Bought Silence at the Worst Possible Time
What does it mean when the world needs Congress to act, but Congress refuses?
It means the genocide continues.
It means the bombs keep falling.
It means children keep starving.
It means Gaza keeps being reduced to rubble.
All while American lawmakers, whose voters see genocide, cast votes to send more weapons, more bombs, more money.
It means that AIPAC’s money is more powerful than American democracy.
Accountability Must Come
The Quinnipiac poll is proof that the American people are not blind. They see. They know. They are ahead of their leaders.
The task now is not just to spread the truth about Gaza, but to expose the corruption in Congress that makes it impossible for lawmakers to act on what their own voters believe.
When this genocide is over, history will record two things:
That half of America recognized it for what it was.
That Congress refused to act because it was compromised.
And that shame will never wash away.
Family, this is why we do this work. Because when half the country says genocide, but the politicians refuse to speak the truth, somebody has to. If you believe this reporting matters, if you believe corruption and complicity must be exposed, I need you to stand with me today.
