🍲 4 days left in Ramadan: Please help me finish strong for Gaza’s families and orphans!
Two ways to help tonight: fund Iftar meals or sponsor an orphan. Please choose one and move.
We now have just 4 days left of Ramadan.
Yesterday was actually my biggest fundraising day of the entire year, which is a blessing. Alhamdulillah. But I need to tell you the honest truth: it was still less than half of what it was last year.
And Gaza’s needs are not “half.”
They are the same — or worse.
So I’m coming to you with urgency and love: we have to finish these last four days strong. And tonight I’m giving you two clear ways to help. Please choose one (or both) and move now:
Option A: Fund warm Iftar meals for families in Gaza (immediate impact tonight)
support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Option B: Sponsor a newly orphaned child in Gaza (long-term stability for a child)
support orphans with Shaun
For my Muslim family: these last nights are when we press hardest.
For my non-Muslim family: Ramadan is a month built around disciplined empathy — people choose hunger to remember the hungry, and then they’re supposed to turn compassion into action.
That’s what we’re trying to do here.
Where we are right now
On the Iftar meals campaign, we’re now at $308,188 raised with 3,560 supporters.
support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
On the orphan sponsorship campaign, we’re now at 1,448 donors toward the goal.
I’m grateful for every single person who has given. But we all know what the final days of Ramadan are like: this is when we either surge… or we settle.
And I am not settling.
Why I’m asking you to choose “meals” or “orphans” tonight
People get stuck because they want to do everything. I get it.
So tonight, I want you to choose your lane:
Meals = “feed a family tonight.”
Orphans = “carry a child for the long road.”
Meals: support the people of Gaza this Ramadan
Orphans: support orphans with Shaun
If you’re wondering what’s most urgent: both are urgent, but in different ways.
Meals are urgent because families have to break the fast every night — and consistent funding is what keeps food moving.
Orphans are urgent because a newly orphaned child doesn’t just need one dinner. They need stability, protection, and the kind of care that doesn’t disappear when the calendar changes.
A simple way to decide how much to give
Here’s the truth I keep seeing in every successful campaign: there is no single kind of donor that makes this work.
Some people can give $1,000.
Some can give $100.
Some can give $25.
Some can give $5.
And when thousands move together, it becomes real food and real care.
So tonight, pick your number and move:
$10
$25
$50
$100
$250
$1,000
And if you can sponsor an orphan, please do that too.

The receipts everyone deserves to hear
Donations are tax-deductible where applicable (you’ll receive a receipt through the platform/charity).
Giving is Zakat-eligible / Zakat-verified. (For non-Muslims: Zakat is a required form of charity in Islam, and “eligible” means it qualifies.)
And I want to be crystal clear: I do not receive a percentage or a single penny from either campaign. I take $0.
The fastest way you can help if you’ve already donated
If you already gave, thank you. Now I’m asking you to multiply it.
Forward this post to three people and tell them: “We have 4 days left. Pick one — meals or orphans — and do it tonight.”

Family, I’m asking for your help because this work is not theoretical. It is not symbolic. It is food. It is children. It is dignity. It is promises kept.
We have four days left.
Let’s finish in a way that Gaza can feel.
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
Shaun
