When I relaunched The North Star this summer, I made one stubborn commitment: tell the truth when power and the press won’t. Nearly 300 articles later, we’ve kept our Gaza coverage free, we’ve broken stories others ignored, and we’ve built a community (that’s you) that refuses to look away.
But the next step requires a real team: an editor to sharpen the work and a producer to turn these investigations into video that can’t be buried. Writing is a solo grind; video is a team sport. The difference between an idea and a show is people.
