⏰ 12 Hours to Sponsor as Many Orphaned Children in Gaza as We Can! Winner get's $15,000 prize for the children!
We have donors sponsoring 1 child and as many as 15 children. Please join us today!
Family,
We’re down to our final 12 hours.
Right now, as I write you this, we are at 1,295 orphans sponsored through our LaunchGood campaign with Human Concern International.
That’s 1,295 children in Gaza whose lives will look different over the next five years because somebody, somewhere, decided, “I’m not going to scroll past this one.”
I am deeply grateful for that.
But we still have hours left in this 24-hour challenge, and I don’t want to leave anything on the table for these kids. I would love to see us push that number to 1,400… 1,500… or beyond before the deadline.
If you haven’t taken the step yet, I’m asking you now as plainly as I know how:

What this campaign actually is
This isn’t a one-time emotional donation that disappears tomorrow.
When you sponsor an orphan through this campaign, you’re doing:
$99/month
For a 5-year commitment – from now until 2029
Those funds go into a serious, long-term program for orphaned children in Gaza: food, shelter, healthcare, schooling, the basics of survival and dignity.
Gaza has at least 20,000 newly orphaned children that we even know about. Many more are effectively orphaned by injury, disappearance, or imprisonment of parents. The scale is overwhelming, but the way we meet it is one child at a time.
Your commitment tells one of those children:
“You lost your parents, but you did not lose the world. There are people who will stand with you.”
If you’re able, please sponsor at least one orphan now. If Allah has given you the means, consider sponsoring more than one.
Muslims, non-Muslims – this is for all of us
For my Muslim sisters and brothers:
This campaign is Zakat-eligible. If you still have Zakat or sadaqah to give, this is one of the most powerful ways you can use it right now.
Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was an orphan. Our tradition is crystal clear about the reward for those who care for orphaned children.
For those who aren’t Muslim:
Your generosity is just as welcome and just as needed. You don’t have to share our faith to share this work.
Your sponsorship is tax-deductible in both the United States and Canada.
At the end of the day, this is about simple human decency: children who have lost everything, and the rest of us deciding whether we’re going to help carry them.
Whoever you are, if your heart is pulled toward these kids at all, follow that.
Why I trust HCI – and why you can too
I know there is a lot of noise and slander around charity and aid work online. Let me say this clearly, again:
100% of what you give goes directly to Human Concern International (HCI) – not through me, not to me.
I’ve helped move almost $4 million in direct aid for Gaza through HCI.
HCI is a long-standing, Canada-registered Muslim charity. Its Executive Director, Mahmuda, is a devout, brilliant Muslim woman I know personally and deeply trust.
I serve as an Ambassador for this work. I do not receive a percentage of funds raised. I do not have access to the bank accounts for this fundraiser or any others.
My job is to connect you to the need, and to an infrastructure I believe in. That’s it.
So if trust has been the only thing holding you back, I’m asking you to push past that tonight.
Click here to sponsor an orphan in Gaza.
If you’ve already given
If you’re already part of that 1,295, I love you and I appreciate you more than you know.
In these last 12 hours, here’s how you can still make an enormous difference:
If you can stretch, sponsor one more orphan or raise your monthly amount even a little.
If that’s not possible, share this with three people you trust – a group chat, your masjid or church, a sibling, a coworker, your social feed.
Tell them, in your own words: “If you want to do something tangible for Gaza today, sponsor an orphan through this link.”
Here it is again:
👉🏽 Support orphans in Gaza with HCI and Shaun.
We’re at 1,295 orphans sponsored right now. With 12 hours left, that number does not have to be the final story.
Let’s write a different ending for as many of these kids as we can.
Love and appreciate each of you.
Your friend and brother,
Shaun
