Dehydration Lawsuit at David Clarke’s Milwaukee Jail Settles for $6.75 Million

The family of a man who died of dehydration in a Milwaukee city-run jail will receive a $6.75 million settlement from a 2017 lawsuit.  The attorneys for Terrill Thomas, a man who died of dehydration in Milwaukee County Jail in Wisconsin in 2016, told the Associated Press that this is one of the largest settlements in the history of the state. “The size of the settlement I believe reflected the tremendous pain and suffering that Mr....
